I met Johan shortly after purchasing the first album he released on Hylé tapes.

From there on, we’ve kept bumping into each other at famous wine bar ‘Le baron Rouge’ or at experimental music concerts.
Always a glass in our hand, both of us.
We somehow agreed to issue an album on SYE.
‘Somehow’ meaning that I vaguely remembered part of it one hangover morning (parents: don’t let your kids go to ‘Le Baron Rouge’, ever).
It’s embarrassing, but the fact that it took him eight years to complete his first album helped me not to worry about it too much.
And a man’s allowed a drink once in a while, right?
It turned out that he completed his album very fast, and when I received it, all mixed feelings on my side were cleared: as you’re about to discover, the music is fabulous.
All that is left to do now is to find a spot to celebrate the release, any idea?
